Job Title: Sales Development Representative (SDR) - Training Academy Support

Day Rate: £150-£180/day
Bonus: £50 incentive per qualified meeting booked
Type: Contract (with potential to go permanent)
Location: Rotherham

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support our Commercial Training Academy team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in generating new business by cold calling corporate organisations, booking qualified meetings, and contributing to the growth of our client base.

This is a high-activity, outbound calling role that demands energy, resilience, and a strong understanding of the sales process. With a competitive day rate, attractive incentives, and a potential pathway to a permanent position, this is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious sales professional.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct a minimum of 50 outbound cold calls per day to corporate clients
Book qualified meetings with key decision-makers to support the Training Academy's commercial growth
Use CRM systems (ideally Salesforce) to manage lead pipelines, record activities, and track performance
Collaborate with internal teams to refine messaging and identify ideal target audiences
Meet daily, weekly, and monthly activity and conversion targets
Continuously improve outreach techniques based on feedback and performance metrics

Required Experience & Skills

Proven outbound sales calling experience (ideally B2B/corporate-focused)
Confidence and resilience in cold calling environments
Proficient in using CRM platforms, with Salesforce experience being highly desirable
Excellent verbal communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet KPIs in a fast-paced environment

Desirable

Background in Energy or Utilities sector
Experience booking meetings or demos for training or B2B service-based offerings
