Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and nurture lasting relationships with customers, understanding their needs to offer bespoke solutions.
  • Manage all aspects of the sales process from lead generation, negotiation, to closing deals.
  • Resolve customer complaints with professionalism, turning potential negative experiences into positive outcomes.
  • Collaborate efficiently with internal teams and stakeholders to develop innovative solutions that meet customer specifications.
  • Prospect relentlessly to identify new sales opportunities and maintain a pipeline of existing market opportunities.
  • Meticulously manage customer information, utilizing the CRM system for accurate record-keeping and to track sales progress.
  • Achieve and surpass set sales targets, contributing to the company’s growth and revenue streams.
  • Develop and execute innovative sales initiatives, and provide insightful reports on sales activity.
  • Present profitable deals to the management, ensuring all transaction documentation is managed correctly.
  • Plan and execute customer engagement strategies, including attending and participating in trade shows, online meetings, and product demonstrations.
  • Stay abreast of regional market trends and product developments to drive sales strategy.

    Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in sales with a track record of achieving growth and exceeding targets.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Technical or operational expertise advantageous, particularly in specialist plant/tractor/municipal equipment sales (though not essential).
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to manage profitable negotiations.
  • Competent in using CRM systems for sales management and reporting.
  • Independent, self-motivated with a resilient, ‘never give up’ attitude.
  • The ability to travel to customer sites and attend industry events as needed.
