The Role

As a Majestic Wine Driver, you get the opportunity to meet and talk to different customers every day. That’s why this role is about much more than just driving: it’s about managing the end-to-end delivery process. In this role, you’ll be an ambassador for the store in which you work, supporting the team to deliver an outstanding shopping experience for every one of our customers.

Job Specifics:

Contract: Fixed-Term Contract (ending 31st December )

Hours: 12 Hours Per Week

Must be able to work weekends and evenings

Driving is a key part of this position so being comfortable driving one of our company vans is essential. We will not accept candidates without a full UK manual driver's license (held for at least 12 months) for this position.

Key Responsibilities

At Majestic Wine our Customers are at the heart of everything we do. In this role, you’ll be an ambassador for the store in which you work, supporting the team to deliver an outstanding shopping experience for every one of our customers.

Therefore, we are looking for people who:

Be the face of Majestic to our delivery customers, ensuring excellent customer service and experience Picking deliveries and loading the van Ensure the van is maintained to a high standard. You take pride in the van by ensuring it is clean and all compliance checks are carried out in a timely manner Delivery into the customer’s house, work place or venue with a smile and a helpful attitude (which can include flights of stairs!) Clear communication with customers to book in deliveries and to provide them with an update on delivery time slot Constantly finding ways to be more efficient with the driving time, understanding the cost impact on inefficient delivery runs Be an ambassador for Majestic whilst driving. You must be able to drive confidently and safely

Knowledge & Skills Required

Hold a full UK/EU/EEA manual driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points Be able and comfortable with carrying up to 18kg weight (equivalent of 2 wine boxes) Confident in driving in Central London Excellent time-management, delegation and problem-solving skills Be able to deliver exceptional customer experience & service to every single customer every time A positive can-do attitude with a passion for seeing problems through to a solution
