Are you an experienced Project Manager or Project Engineer in highways construction or contracting looking for a career shift that leverages your technical and project delivery expertise? If you've managed, planned, or delivered highways projects, you'll bring the real-world expertise needed to create compelling, technically accurate bid content.

About the Role

As a Senior Proposals Engineer, you will:
Lead the development of persuasive technical proposals using your hands-on construction experience.

Collaborate with senior leadership, estimators, and project teams to shape winning bids.

Ensure bid submissions accurately reflect the practicalities of project delivery, risk mitigation, and engineering methodologies.

Work on high-profile national infrastructure contracts, supporting multi-million-pound projects.

Travel occasionally (~20%) for project briefings, interviews, and team meetings.

Who We're Looking For

Project Managers or Project Engineers with experience in highways contracting, road construction, or infrastructure projects.

Strong understanding of project phases, construction planning, methodologies, and risk management.

Ability to write clear, structured content that conveys technical solutions persuasively.
