The Role

As aSenior TechnicianDrone Operationsyoull be at the heart of provingthe value of autonomous flight to clients and shaping the future of ourtechnology. Youll design and execute drone missions that solve realworldchallenges and help develop the drone systems and software that controlsthemturning cuttingedge innovationinto tangible results.

These are some of the areasyou will work in:

DeliveringProjects: Leading endtoend drone operations for client contractsfromplanning flights to analysing and reporting on outcomes. This may includemanagement of other operators and technicians in a field team.

Innovation:Collaborating with our tech team to implement and test new ideas on dronesshare field insights and improve how our systems perform in realworldscenarios.

BusinessDevelopment: Running highprofile demonstrations for clients proving howdrones can revolutionise their operations.

OptimisingOperations: Manage drone fleets ensuring theyre missionready and alignedwith evolving business needs.


Who You Are

This role will suit you ifyou enjoy a mix of operational handson engineering and analyticaltasks. You need to have a deep understanding of how system levelrequirements translate into low level actions and an ability to foreseedependencies and bottlenecks that might block progress.

A creativeproblem solving engineer or technicianwho thrives in dynamic environments.

Experienced inmanaging complex projects ideally with drones aviation or techdrivenoperations.

A technicalmethodical mind with handsontechnical skills suited to robotics applications(a combination of electrical mechanical software and calibration).We would consider engineerstechnicians andtechnically biased drone pilots for this role.

Skilled atbalancing handson with strategic thinkingyou anticipate roadblocksand adapt quickly.

A maturecommunicator who can translate technical concepts into clear outcomes forclients and your colleagues in the development teams both verbally and inconcise clear written reports.

Willing to travelthroughout the UK and internationally (full UK driving licence required).

Unrestrictedright to work in the UK.
