Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Senior Video Editor role located just outside Winchester. The Senior Video Editor will lead our post-production output, championing excellence and innovation with your editing flair, including advanced colour grading, sound design, creative motion graphics, and a creative storytelling imagination. The role involves collaborating with the production team with ideation and storyboarding, then taking the vision through to post-production to create high-quality video content that aligns with the client's vision and goals and exceeds their expectations.

Skills and experience

  • Proven experience as a Senior Editor with a strong portfolio relevant to our company either with other creative agencies and/or as a successful freelancer.
  • Highly accomplished user of video editing software primarily Final Cut Pro X which we use. However, open to other software.
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, especially After Effects, Audition, and Premiere Pro.
  • Highly proficient in Video Colour Grading and Motion Graphics.
  • Excellent sound design abilities and proficiency in a range of audio tools.
  • Strong creative ideation and storytelling abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and to manage effectively multiple projects.
  • Proven leadership skills to lead a team of editors and passion for supportive mentorship to grow the professional skills of colleagues.
  • Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Video Editing, or related field preferred.
  • Can-do attitude, a friendly approach, and great communication skills to liaise directly with clients as well as team members.
