About the Role:
As Senior Planner, you will play a key role in managing planning applications, offering expert advice to clients, and ensuring successful outcomes through the increasingly complex planning process. The role will involve working closely with a variety of stakeholders, including local authorities, clients, and designers, to deliver well-managed development projects across London and the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage planning applications from inception through to approval.
Provide clear and effective planning advice to clients, designers, and stakeholders.
Liaise with local authorities and other key parties to secure positive planning outcomes.
Prepare and submit planning applications, appeals, and supporting documentation.
Stay abreast of changes to planning policies and regulations, advising clients accordingly.
Mentor and support junior team members, sharing expertise and promoting professional development.
Assist in business development efforts, cultivating strong client relationships and contributing to new opportunities.Key Requirements:

A minimum of 4 years' experience in a planning role, ideally within a consultancy.
Chartered status with the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or working towards it.
Strong knowledge of UK planning law and policies, with the ability to apply them in practice.
Proven experience managing a range of development projects, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use schemes.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
A proactive, solution-focused approach to planning challenges.
