We have a fantastic opportunity to join us as Station Manager at East Midlands Airport!

As our Station Manager, you will have overall operational and management accountability for the Jet2.com Ground Operations Teams (Airside and Customer Facing) based at East Midlands Airport. You will have overall responsibility for ensuring the safe, efficient and effective delivery of our operation as well as the delivery of our famous VIP Customer Service.

In this hands-on role, you will actively engage with our customers and colleagues, leading by example to ensure the delivery of both landside and airside activities. You will also oversee third-party partners to ensure adherence to Jet2.com's service specifications. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the continued growth of our business.

What will you do as our Station Manager?
  • Provide strategic leadership in people management, including coaching, development and performance oversight to your Ground Operations Management Teams, across the customer facing & airside operation.
  • Deliver effective guidance and direction to ensure colleagues and suppliers deliver and exceed Jet2.com standards for safety, customer service, cost management, and ancillary revenues
  • Maintain a primary focus on safety, ensuring that activities are adequately resourced, and procedures and regulations are strictly adhered to. Operate in full compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards.
  • Ensure that our customer promise is consistently delivered, and required standards are achieved.
  • Be accountable for productive business activity, meaningful MI and reporting
  • Enable your teams to work together to deliver a first-class customer service at the airport.
  • Build strong working relationships locally and partner closely with stakeholders, including third-party suppliers and airport management as well as key stakeholders across the Jet2.com and Jet2holidays business.

  • Have a proven track record in leading and developing large, high-performing airport teams, with a strong commitment to supporting colleagues.
  • Be an established and engaging operational manager with senior-level experience in airport operations, ideally overseeing both customer-facing and airside teams.
  • Demonstrate the ability to successfully lead teams through operational challenges with flexibility, resilience, and strategic foresight.
  • Be skilled in managing complex relationships with demanding internal and external stakeholders.
  • Have strong commercial acumen and a clear understanding of what it takes to succeed in a dynamic airport environment.
