Job role: Teaching assistant

Hours: 8:30-3:30 five days a week

Location: Daventry

Teaching Personnel are dedicated to providing excellent education and support to students. We are welcoming applications from experienced Teaching Assistants to work in our welcoming and friendly schools to make a difference in the lives of our next generation. We have opportunities in Daventry for passionate Teaching Assistants who are looking for a new role.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the class teacher with lessons and activities
Work in small groups / with individuals
Help manage the classroom and prepare equipment for lessons
Encourage and provide an enagaging learning environment
Follow behaviour and safeguarding policies to ensure a safe learning environment is provided for all students and staff
Monitor and give feedback on students progress

Qualifications and Skills:

Experience as a teaching assistant or a similar role
Enthuasism for education and helping students to be successful
Good communication skills
Approachable and friendly
A Child Enhanced DBS (or willing to apply for one)
Good time management
Relevant qualifications (e.g. Teaching Assistant) if possible

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
