Our client, a thriving and innovative supplier to the UK commercial construction sector, is on the lookout for a Technical Sales Executive—someone equally confident analysing data and managing sales projects from the office, as they are building relationships out in the field.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in construction sales, who can spend 2–3 days per week in the office overseeing live projects and performing structured analysis, while dedicating the remaining time to customer meetings, site visits and growing client relationships.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Act as a key contact for project sales from initial enquiry through to final delivery, ensuring technical accuracy and customer satisfaction.
Spend 2–3 days in the Kettering office, managing incoming project opportunities, performing data and margin analysis, preparing proposals, and liaising with internal departments.
Spend 1–2 days per week on the road, attending pre-arranged meetings with contractors, architects, and buyers—advising on best-fit solutions and converting interest into sales.
Collaborate with marketing and commercial teams to follow up qualified leads, handle product queries, and close deals with a consultative approach.
Support customers through product specification, project timelines, and decision-making—offering insight and clarity throughout the construction process.
Help develop internal processes and contribute to the continuous improvement of how projects are tracked and delivered.What You Bring:
A confident, well-organised communicator who thrives in a varied and fast-paced commercial role.
Someone who is just as comfortable creating a polished proposal as they are delivering a persuasive product presentation.
Strong administrative and planning skills, with attention to detail and good working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook.
The ability to build trust and rapport with both new and existing customers—always striving for long-term partnership, not just short-term wins.
Ideally, some experience in sales, account management or project coordination within construction, manufacturing, or technical products.
