We are looking for aVisual Content Creatorto join our evolving marketing team. You will be the brains behind producing and editing inspirational and engaging visual content that captures the attention and drives customer engagement across all our platforms.

The Role:

Central to our brand’s storytelling efforts, the Visual Content Creator will produce visuals that capture attention on digital platforms, focusing on content that will resound with our technical and specialist audiences.

Working closely with the Marketing and Product Management teams, you will help develop, produce, edit and execute attractive visual marketing content to enhance our online presence, ensuring that visual content aligns with brand guidelines and campaign objectives. You will be contributing towards all creative output and communications, both internally and externally.

There will be plenty of opportunity to use your technical understanding and creative flair to ideate and produce engaging visual content, using your video editing skills to produce content to target our installer and reseller audiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement visual and video content aligned with marketing objectives.
  • Design diverse visual media, including graphics, videos, product comparisons, user instructions, social media content, etc.
  • Develop creative print and digital designs and artwork for brochures, packaging, marketing collateral, manuals, point of sale, exhibitions, web design, social media, presentations, direct mail, and emails.
  • Through producing visually engaging media, aim to increase audience engagement, drive traffic, and contribute to higher conversion rates on marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Product teams to ensure consistency with the brand’s identity and messaging.
  • Oversee the production process from concept to final execution.
  • Stay updated on the latest design trends and visual content innovations.
  • Analyse and measure the performance of visual content to optimize impact.
  • Demonstrate a positive and pro-active approach, showing initiative and suggesting ideas for new content and the continual improvement of quality and efficiency.
  • Provide input into the direction of the brand’s content strategy, what the content should look like and where it may be published.

Required Skills:

  • A relevant technical or creative degree (or equivalent) supported by significant visual content production experience.
  • Highly proficient in use of Adobe suite design software packages (Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop).
  • Proficient in video editing tools / animation techniques.
  • Experience of producing visuals aimed at installers, electricians, value-added resellers and other technical audiences is highly desirable.
  • Highly literate with an eye for detail, and an interest in technology.
  • Exposure to writing content in an E-Commerce environment.
  • Experience using search engine reporting and optimisation tools.
  • Excellent organisation/communication skills.
  • An understanding of applying AI and digital technology to improve and automate, where possible, without losing the human touch.
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced results-driven environment.
  • A creative mindset, with a desire to bring innovative ideas/solutions.
  • Able to understand features and applications for technical products to promote effectively.
  • Commercial awareness – A deep understanding of consumer behaviours and technical products.
  • Organisation and planning - Confident in your ability to multitask and plan effectively, while delivering results with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • A thirst for knowledge and a continual drive for personal and professional growth.
