Attendance officer for an outstanding school in West London. The Attendance Officer plays a vital role in promoting and supporting high levels of student attendance and punctuality. This position involves monitoring attendance data, identifying patterns of concern, and implementing targeted interventions to improve engagement. The role requires close collaboration with students, families, and external agencies. The school is keen to look over attendance officer CVs ASAP and meet candidates for an interview after the Easter break

Record, maintain and update data for attendance and punctuality of pupils

Communicate with parents and carers of pupils in regard to absence, when necessary

Work with the wider team to effectively resolve issues that cause pupils absences

Contact the Local Authority when needed

Reach out to Primary schools of new pupils in Year 7 to track attendance records

Must have school based experience REQUIREMENTS
