We are currently recruiting for a qualified and committed nurse to lead the health centre of a high-achieving private school based in Hertfordshire. This is a full-time, term-time only position with on-site accommodation provided along with a number of other excellent benefits.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide quality service of nursing care and pastoral support within NMC guidelines to pupils
  
  
• Line management of 2 healthcare professionals/nurses
  
  
• Provide clinically effective care and feedback to all pupils
  
  
• Administering prescribed medications and record all information in accordance with NMC practices
  
  
• Continuous Monitoring and reporting student health status if required
  
  The Person
  
  The successful Lead Nurse will:
  
  • Hold an active NMC pin
  
  • Be passionate about delivering the best level of care
  
  • Previous experience as a school nurse (desired)
  
  • Hold relevant nursing qualification – RGN / RMN / RSCN
