In this role you will be leading the packaging development team, developing and implementing new processes and packaging solutions, ensuring robust technical leadership and project delivery.
The Job
The main aim of the role is to develop and implement packaging solutions to drive the growth agenda for the business. The job holder will deliver packaging solutions (to work holistically with product), based on sustainable technologies. As a packaging development manager, the job holder is accountable for driving the activities through the business from lead prototype to implementation. They will also be required to build a strong internal supply and demand network and an evolving external supplier base, sharing their ideas, knowledge and expertise.
The person
You will have a proven track record of hands-on project management and delivery in packaging development, ideally with experience of line management. You will have a sound technical knowledge of packaging technologies, functional packaging and manufacturing processes. You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and influencing skills with proven ability and aptitude to apply technical knowledge within a commercial environment.
