PLANNED WORKS SURVEYOR

You will be working as a Planned Works Surveyor with an RP in London who are looking for someone to lead a team of 2 Asset Surveyors, carrying out 121s and getting the best out of a small team that are responsible for delivering planned, cyclical and major works - prioritising the kitchens and bathrooms improvement programme.
This will be for a minimum 3-6 months, which will look to be extended if everyone is happy.
You will be on an daily rate of £300 per day

PRINCIPAL SURVEYOR ROLE BASICS:
Manage and monitor contractors to ensure work is of high quality and meets specifications.
Ensure that all pre and post inspections are carried out.
You will be procuring or preparing programmes, structural reports, feasibility studies, and tenders for capital and revenue programmes, including environmental works.
You will be monitoring and managing the programmes to ensure the project team surpasses the project aims and objectives regarding delivery, quality and to budget.
You will be leading on strategic asset management workstreams and provide technical and expert advice on complex or sensitive service delivery improvements and provide recommendation reports to senior management.

PRINICPAL SURVEYOR APPLICANT ESSENTIALS
BSc in Building Surveying / higher diploma level or suitable alternative professional qualification or commensurate experience
Relevant surveying qualification
Professional qualification in surveying (e.g., RICS or equivalent).
Experience of collaborative senior leadership, leading groups of colleagues to monitor and develop services and deliver change
Experience of reviewing policies, supporting tendering and procurement activities
