Residential Building Surveyor (AssocRICS / MRICS)

• AssocRICS or MRICS qualification
• Minimum of 5 years' experience carrying out RICS Level 2 Home Surveys
• Strong knowledge of post-war and modern residential properties
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent report writing and communication skills
• High professional and ethical standards in line with RICS guidance
• Experience using iPad-based inspection and reporting software
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to cover Gloucester and the surrounding areas

• Previous experience working autonomously within a residential surveying role
• Familiarity with a wide range of residential property types across the local area

• Carrying out RICS Level 2 Home Surveys on residential properties
• Producing accurate, professional reports using an iPad-based reporting system
• Planning and managing your own daily survey schedule
• Delivering a consistent number of surveys each week
• Maintaining high standards of professionalism, accuracy and client care
• Communicating professionally with clients when required

• Self-employed contractors will need their own vehicle, surveying equipment and Public Liability Insurance
