At Vertical Aerospace, we are pioneering the way for electric aviation. The Valo, our eVTOL (electric, vertical, take-off and landing), 'zero emissions' aircraft will set a new safety standard for how we will navigate the sky.
We won't realise our mission following the same legacy processes and traditions our predecessors followed, instead, we want to 'redefine' aerospace best practices. We are growing quickly from a prototype business to a scaling SME, and the next few years will be critical to our success and delivering on our ambitious goals. Valo is targeting airliner-level safety certification in 2028 ahead of entering service with our airline and operator customers.
We are seeking a Senior Digital Product Manager to define and deliver digital products that directly enable aircraft programme success.
This role owns product vision, roadmap, and value delivery within our aircraft digital ecosystem.
What You’ll Do
Product Strategy & Roadmap
Defining product vision and multi-year roadmaps aligned with aircraft programme phases
Translating business and user needs into clear outcomes, epics, and prioritised backlogs
Balancing near-term delivery demands with long-term scalability
Delivery & Execution
Partnering with engineering and digital delivery teams to build compliant, high-quality products
Leading product discovery, requirements definition, acceptance criteria, and release planning
Ensuring products are reliable, usable, and fit for regulated environments
Stakeholder Engagement
Acting as primary product interface for engineering, airworthiness, flight test, and manufacturing teams
Managing trade-offs between scope, schedule, cost, and compliance
Communicating product progress, risks, and decisions to senior stakeholders
Data & Continuous Improvement
What You'll Bring
Significant experience delivering complex digital products
Experience within engineering-heavy or regulated industries
Understanding of PLM, systems engineering, or manufacturing domains (desirable)
Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, delivery-focused environments
Strong stakeholder management and decision-making capability
