Area to be covered: East Midlands

Remuneration: £48,000-£54,000 + 1% Commission (circa £13,000) + £3,000-£4000 Company Bonus

Benefits: hybrid / electric company car or £575 car allowance & benefits package

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Commercial Boilers & Water Heating Systems will involve:

  • Field sales position selling a comprehensive range of manufactured commercial boilers & water heating systems such as: boilers, water heating systems, heat pumps, storage units, pumps, heat pumps, pipe fittings, pressure systems, valves, gauges, clips

  • 40% of your time will be generating and breaking specifications via M&E consultants, mechanical consultants, D&B specifiers and councils

  • 40% of your time will be spent selling to M&E contractors

  • The remaining 20% of your time will be spent managing the small distribution partners such as: Wolseley, BSS & Smith Brothers and end users

  • Focus on commercial projects sales for typical end users such as: universities, hospitals, hotels and local authorities

  • Dealing with order values of between £2k-£300k (average £25,000-£70,000)

  • Taking over a well-established area currently turning over circa £1.3m

  • All of you time will be spent managing and developing existing accounts

  • Conduct CPD seminars when required, typically 2 per month

    The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Commercial Boilers & Water Heating Systems experience with:

  • Ideally have field sales experience selling to the M&E market place

  • Would consider something working for a plumbing & heating merchants with field sales experiernce

  • Would consider a mechanical engineer looking to step onto the road

  • Ideally have M&E specification / M&E contractors relationships

  • Ideally sold products such as: boilers, water heating systems, heat pumps, chilled water systems, heated water systems, boilers, pumps, pipes, pressurisation systems, pressure gauges, heating controls, valves, fan coils, radiators, chillers, heat exchangers or related products

  • Ideally have sound understanding on technical drawings
