Veterans in UAVs & Drones: A Military‑to‑Civilian Pathway into Uncrewed Aviation Careers

Introduction Britain’s skies are getting crowded—by design. The UK Future Flight Challenge is injecting £300 million into next‑generation drones, cargo VTOLs, and air‑traffic management (ATM) tech. Whether you flew a Watchkeeper UAS over Helmand, maintained quadcopters for route clearance, or coordinated temporary danger areas (TDAs) for training, your skills map directly to the civilian drone revolution.
