📍 East Manchester | £25,000 + up to £18,000 commission | Full-time

We're working with an owner operated accountancy practice who've grown organically over the last 14 years. We’re looking for someone driven, persuasive, and full of energy to help us connect with the thousands of contractors and self-employed professionals who need what we do best.

💡 Who We Are

Having grown through word of mouth, reputation, and results, they're now ready to scale. That’s where you come in.

📞 The Role: Business Development Executive

You’ll be the driving force behind our new business activity — the first impression, the connector, the closer. We need someone who can get out there, spark interest, and ultimately, bring new clients on board.

Key Responsibilities:

Make a high volume of outbound calls daily to connect with prospective clients (primarily contractors and self-employed professionals).

*

Use LinkedIn and other channels to generate and qualify leads.

*

Book and conduct intro calls to pitch our client's services.

*

Attend networking events and industry meetups to grow our brand presence.

*

Work alongside the marketing team to align campaigns and messaging.

*

Maintain a strong and organised pipeline of opportunities.

*

Meet and exceed monthly lead generation and conversion targets.

This isn’t a passive role — you’ll need to own your outreach and drive the sales process forward.

🙋‍♀️ Who We’re Looking For

We want someone hungry to make an impact and confident working in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.

You’ll ideally have:

*

1–2 years of experience in sales or business development.

*

A background in recruitment, telesales, or similar high-volume outbound roles (a plus, not a must).

*

A proven ability to hit targets and close deals.

*

Excellent communication skills — both spoken and written.

*

The confidence to build rapport with anyone and lead conversations organically.

*

A proactive approach — you don’t wait to be told what to do; you make things happen.

💷 What You’ll Get

*

£25,000 base salary

*

Up to £18,000 commission annually if targets are met

*

A clear progression path in a growing business

*

Supportive and down-to-earth team culture

If you’re someone who thrives on winning business, loves a good phone call, and wants to grow with a modern, forward-thinking firm — we’d love to hear from you.

Veterans in UAVs & Drones: A Military‑to‑Civilian Pathway into Uncrewed Aviation Careers

Introduction Britain’s skies are getting crowded—by design. The UK Future Flight Challenge is injecting £300 million into next‑generation drones, cargo VTOLs, and air‑traffic management (ATM) tech. PwC values UK drone adoption at £45 billion in economic impact by 2030, generating 650,000 new jobs in inspection, delivery, and emergency response. The Ministry of Defence (MoD) leads the charge with programmes such as Protector RG Mk1 (MQ‑9B Reaper successor) and Project MORPHEUS swarm trials. For veterans, drones are familiar territory. Whether you flew a Watchkeeper UAS over Helmand, maintained quadcopters for route clearance, or coordinated temporary danger areas (TDAs) for training, your skills map directly to the civilian drone revolution. This guide explains how to leverage MoD transition programmes, translate military credentials, and land rewarding roles in piloting, engineering, and drone‑data analytics. Rural-Remote UAV Jobs: Charting New Flight Paths Beyond the City

A New Horizon for Drone Enthusiasts Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) have soared from niche military tools and hobbyist gadgets to an essential technology across a broad range of sectors—from agriculture and mapping to construction and public safety. Historically, those seeking a career in UAV technology might have assumed they needed to live in a bustling city hub or near major airports to stand a chance of landing a good role. But times are changing. Advances in remote communication, cloud-based data processing, and drone autonomy now enable professionals to work on sophisticated UAV projects from almost anywhere in the UK, including rural and coastal regions. At UAVJobs.co.uk, we’re witnessing a significant shift. More employers are open to hiring remote UAV pilots, data analysts, software developers, and project managers—provided they can access reliable internet and handle occasional on-site visits. Likewise, an increasing number of professionals are seeking “tech jobs by the sea” or “UAV remote countryside” roles, motivated by rising urban living costs, quality-of-life aspirations, and the growing acceptance of distributed teams. In this article, we’ll explore why “rural-remote UAV jobs” are no longer a pipe dream, the benefits and challenges of stepping beyond the city, and how to position yourself for success if you’re ready to settle among rolling hills or scenic coastlines. Whether you’re a seasoned drone pilot, a software engineer working on flight autonomy, or a GIS analyst processing aerial data, you might be pleasantly surprised by the opportunities waiting for you outside metropolitan areas.
