Area to be covered: North England, Scotland & Ireland

Remuneration: £52,000 - £54,000 + annual bonus paid twice typically £8,000 - £9,000

The role of the Specification Sales Manager – Thermal Insulation / Acoustic Flooring will involve:

  • Technical field sales position selling a high quality manufactured range of thermal insulation, acoustic flooring, condensation control, airtight membranes and gas protection products

  • For the high rise, facades and offsite modular markets focusing on the breathable, airtight and fire-resistant membranes and thermal solutions

  • Majority of your time will be spent generating specifications via architects, design & build contractors, rainscreen cladders, specialist facades contractors, specifiers, housebuilders, local authorities and consultants

  • The remaining portion will be spent selling to main contractors, sub-contractors, civil contractors, end users and the remaining

  • A small portion will be spent the merchant / distribution channels

  • However will work in a buddy system with a dedicated Regional Sales Manager who will focus on pulling the orders through the distribution channels for you

  • Dealing with order values ranging from £5k -£100k+ depending on size and scope

  • Will be required to conduct regular CPD’s

  • Will work closely with internal team and other members of the sales team

    The ideal applicant will be an Specification Sales Manager – Thermal Insulation / Acoustic Flooring with:

  • Must have construction field sales experience selling a technical related product such as: building envelope systems, thermal insulation, insulation, offsite modular, modular buildings, acoustics, facades, interior membranes, exterior membranes, building envelope products, drylining, insulation, glazing, protective coatings, roofing products, cladding, curtain walling, rainscreens, timberframe, groundworks, modular buildings

  • Must have experience generating specification via architects, design & build contractors, specifiers, local authorities, housebuilders OR sold to main contractors, sub-contractors, civil contractors, merchants, stockist

  • Would consider a contractors led sales professional with limited specification experience

  • Ideally have experience conducting CPD seminars

  • Able to communicate at all levels from architects, merchants and contractors

  • Must have genuine desire to learn and expand your career

  • Numerate and IT literate ideally degree level education

  • Genuine hunger, desire to achieve goals and an analytical approach
