Position Location:Stafford, VA (Hybrid Remote)

Job Description and Responsibilities:

TheCounter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) Senior Operations Systems Engineerwill ensure that our government customer achieves the desired infrastructure, capabilities, and processes for the deployment of systems and services at the speed of relevance to support C-UAS activities. TheC-UAS Sr Operations Systems Engineerperforming on this contract will possess the required skills, experience, and credentials at the appropriate clearance level and be responsible for executing collaborative logistics integration and interoperability to enhance command and control, communications, and readiness for our customer.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Provide engineering thought leadership, operational project concepts, and advanced C-UAS meeting support during test and demonstration planning.
  • Maintain the ability to supervise support integration in coordination with C-UAS Field Service Representatives on required systems.
  • Provide recommendations for C-UAS Life-Cycle Project Support including review of component failure tracking and configuration management.
  • Provide review of system load planning and documentation for equipment shipment and C-UAS systems.
  • Provide C-UAS test event support including recommendations for resource identification, planning, delivery, site setup, site daily operation, and retrograde.
  • Maintain close coordination with security personnel to support shipping, receiving, and accountability.
  • Provide review of C-UAS Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Government Furnished Property (GFP) management.
  • Conduct C-UAS site surveys of proposed test and training locations to determine site and security service requirements.
  • Supervise operational effectiveness and requirements for system integration of C-UAS systems and solutions.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Systems Operations, or other related field of study commensurate with requirements.
  • Relevant experience and years of service may be considered in lieu of required education.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years experience in supporting integration for DoD or government C-UAS systems and services.
  • Minimum Secret Clearance.
  • Past performance in supporting DoD related operations activities and/or integration support.
  • Ability to work as a member of a team with the skills and personality to lead discussions that result in positive desired outcomes.
  • Candidates must possess excellent interpersonal, business management, and customer service skills.
  • Proven leadership in operations and systems management role for military systems and solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Conducting emplacement of military systems upon receiving proper training manuals and strategic guidance.

Experience:

  • TS/SCI Clearance.
  • Experience with managing C-UAS software and hardware integration and understanding of logistics required for operations of successful C-UAS systems.
  • Project Management or process improvement experience.
  • Understanding of C-UAS acquisition management support and documentation for fielding software and systems.
  • Experience working with C-UAS systems at military facility locations or field bases.

Travel:Up to 20% based on customer needs.
