The Role:

Skyports is looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Communications & Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Director of Drone Services and Director of Infrastructure, this role will lead the execution of marketing and communications initiatives to promote our brand and services. You will have the opportunity to work across a variety of marketing channels, including strategic planning, content creation, campaign execution, and PR management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the development and execution of marketing strategies aligned with Skyports’ business objectives.
  • Manage and create content for digital platforms, including websites, social media channels, email marketing, and blogs.
  • Coordinate and execute traditional and social media campaigns to drive brand awareness and engagement.
  • Create marketing collateral, presentations, and product materials.
  • Collaborate with the wider teams to ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels.
  • Assist with event coordination, including virtual and in-person trade shows, conferences, and webinars.
  • Manage and track marketing budgets and resources.
  • Manage external communications, including media relations, press releases, and outreach to promote the Skyports brand.
  • Develop and execute PR campaigns to enhance Skyports' reputation and increase brand visibility.

About You:

  • 2-4 years of experience in marketing and/or PR and communications, preferably in the start-up technology or aviation sectors.
  • Proven experience in developing a brand’s influence and presence.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including social media, email, and content marketing.
  • Proficiency with marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot, Canva, Mailchimp, Google Analytics, Adobe Creative Suite, social media management tools).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for marketing and new technology.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel
