ARM are delighted to be supporting one of our clients in London with the recruitment of a Company Secretariat Assistant on an initial 6 month contract.

The Company Secretariat Assistant will support the Company Secretariat and work with the Deputy Company Secretary and Governance Manager to develop, implement and improve the corporate governance structure.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Company Secretariat to develop, implement and improve the corporate governance structure and processes.
Participate in team meetings to provide specialist guidance on governance, to assist colleagues.
Acting as a point of contact on administrative matters relating to the organisation of the board and committees.
Assisting with the drafting of company specific filings/publications.
Organising meetings and assisting with the drafting and issuing of agendas.

Requirements:

Understands ?best practice? for corporate governance in a quasi-government, large, corporate entity.
Knowledge of board portal software (e.g. BoardPad, Admincontrol, Board Vantage, Board Intelligence etc).
Ability to manage relationships with multiple internal stakeholders
Time Management, organisation and prioritisation skills
Conflict resolution skills - including the ability to manage competing stakeholder priorities
Communication Skills - including the ability to liaise with various internal stakeholders, influence and challenge appropriately.
