Our client is on the lookout for a dedicated Delivery Sustainability Packaging Expert to join their dynamic team in Whitechapel, London! This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to contribute to a greener future while working in a thriving technology environment.

Position Details:

Contract Type: Temporary
Hourly Rate: £17.92 - £19.53
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 6 month contract (with an option to extend)
Working Pattern: Full-Time 40hrs per week
Location: Conveniently located just 2 minutes from Aldgate East train station 🚉

What You'll Do:

Become a local expert on sustainable packaging guidance and educate restaurants on their current practises.
Collaborate with restaurant owners to assess their needs and recommend sustainable alternatives that align with our client's local standards.
Develop tailored transition strategies for each restaurant, ensuring they meet the required environmental criteria.
Work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to implement reliable and eco-friendly packaging solutions.
Validate packaging changes and oversee the transition to ensure qualifying restaurants receive sustainability benefits.
Prepare regular reports on merchant conversion progress for stakeholders.

What You'll Need:

At least 3 years of experience in client-facing roles with commercial ownership.
Strong sales background and a proactive approach.
A passion for sustainability and making a positive environmental impact! 🌿
Excellent communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills to build relationships and identify solutions.
Strong client management skills, with the ability to handle multiple restaurant clients simultaneously.
Commercial acumen to spot business opportunities and convert them into results.
A positive spirit and energy that contribute to an amazing team culture! 🌟

Existing knowledge of sustainable packaging materials, waste management practises, and industry regulations.
