About the Role

As an Employer Relationship Manager, you will play a crucial role in securing partnerships with employers to create job opportunities for our learners. Through strategic outreach, networking, and engagement, you will connect with decision-makers, understand their hiring needs, and position our pre-employment training programmes as the ideal solution.

Key Responsibilities

Employer Engagement & Business Development

  • Proactively research and identify potential employer partners.

  • Use outreach, networking, and industry events to establish employer relationships.

  • Promote our pre-employment training solutions and secure employer commitments to interview our learners.

    Relationship Management & Employer Support

  • Maintain strong, lasting relationships with employer partners.

  • Serve as the main point of contact for employers, ensuring smooth collaboration.

  • Negotiate agreements that maximise employment opportunities for learners.

    Performance & Market Awareness

  • Work towards and exceed employer engagement targets.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends, employer needs, and funding opportunities.

  • Keep accurate records of employer interactions and partnership outcomes.

    What We’re Looking For

  • A results-driven professional with a passion for employer engagement.

  • Strong DWP stakeholder links are a plus.

  • A confident communicator with excellent relationship-building skills.

  • A persuasive negotiator with strong influencing abilities.

  • Experience in employer engagement, recruitment, or partnership development (preferred).

  • Self-motivated, resilient, and able to work independently to drive partnerships.
