  • Proficiently develop students' analytical and interpretive abilities, foster independent critical reasoning, and deepen their sophisticated appreciation for a broad and diverse literary canon.

  • Comprehensively prepare students for their GCSE and A-level English examinations, with a focused emphasis on cultivating advanced creative writing skills, articulate and persuasive communication, and incisive textual understanding.

  • Diligently and precisely evaluate student progress in English, providing highly specific, constructive, and forward-looking feedback to optimise their academic achievement.

    Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, holding a specific and relevant specialism in English.

  • An extensive and documented record of successfully delivering English Teacher lessons across the entire secondary age range, consistently resulting in outstanding student outcomes.

  • A deep, comprehensive, and up-to-the-minute expert knowledge of the English curriculum, combined with a proven capacity for highly effective and innovative pedagogical approaches.
