The role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Workshop Manager who is reliable and passionate for our Mount Kuring Gai workshop. With major maintenance depots in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Hobart, our arboreal and vegetation management operations span nationally, enabling us to deliver exceptional service. Supporting our major depots are the strategic operations that span from Brisbane to Hobart and throughout South Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Previous experience as a Workshop Manager in a similar industry.
  • Previous budgeting/forecasting and reporting experience in a similar environment.
  • Strong leader and mentor to 10+ workshop team members.
  • Oversee the execution of all service schedules in the workshop.
  • Manage Toolbox, Safety Alerts, Factory recalls and defect management clearance.
  • Manage admin of Workshop Management system.
  • Work with the National Maintenance Manager to ensure equipment integrity from a National perspective.

About you:

  • Minimum 5 years managing medium to large workshop.
  • Qualified diesel mechanic (highly desirable) with 10+ years’ experience.
  • Hold a current NSW Heavy Vehicle Inspectors licence.
  • Experience with EWP maintenance requirements highly desirable.
  • Experience with Maintenance software highly desirable.
  • Experience with Isuzu, Hino, Mercedes, Mitsubishi, Volvo desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
  • Demonstrated ability working within a fast-paced environment.
  • Competent with the Microsoft Office Suite - particularly Outlook and Excel.

  • Mechanical qualification (Cert III Minimum in Plant Operations or Heavy Diesel).
