Position: Gym/Event Manager

Location: Kettering

Salary: up to £34,000

Schedule: Full-time with shifts, including evenings and weekends

Role Overview:

Lead operations of a dynamic health/fitness club and sports complex with facilities including badminton and squash courts, a gym, pool, and wellness amenities. Manage daily operations, large-scale events, staff, and business development to drive growth and customer satisfaction.

Gym/Event Manager Responsibilities:

· Operations: Oversee daily facility management, event logistics, safety, and compliance.

· Financials: Manage budgets, control costs, drive revenue through memberships and events.

· Leadership: Recruit, train, and lead a cross-functional team.

· Customer Service: Ensure top-tier service and engagement through programs and feedback.

· Marketing: Develop campaigns, manage digital presence, and build community relationships.

· Facilities: Maintain all equipment and spaces; coordinate maintenance and vendors.

The ideal Gym/Event Manager:

· Experience in management from sports, fitness, sales, hospitality or similar industries

· Strong leadership, financial, and operational skills

· Ideally knowledge of sports/events/health club management

· Proficiency in CRM, Microsoft Office, and strategic planning

· Passion for wellness and high service standard
