Marketing Coordinator

Are you a creative self-starter with a knack for crafting engaging content and coordinating standout campaigns? Marlborough Highways is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support our day-to-day marketing activity and help amplify our brand across digital and print channels. You’ll be based at our Chelmsford head office, working closely with the Head of Marketing and Communications and joining a dynamic team that spans both on-site and remote colleagues.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Assist in rolling out strategies from the annual Marketing & Communications plan

  • Visit project sites (and occasionally operate a drone) to capture high-quality photos and video assets

  • Design eye-catching marketing collateral—brochures, leaflets, posters, magazines, and infographics

  • Collaborate with our Content Manager to keep the website fresh, on-brand, and user-focused

  • Manage and grow multiple LinkedIn accounts, crafting targeted campaigns and monitoring budgets

  • Produce weekly performance reports, analyze trends, and recommend new tactics to hit targets

  • Partner with clients on joint marketing and communication initiatives

    What We’re Looking For:

  • Hands-on experience using LinkedIn for business, including running paid campaigns

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator

  • Strong writing skills: you produce accurate, imaginative content for web, print, and social media

  • Familiarity with web CMS platforms and email marketing software

  • Proven ability to juggle multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines

  • A creative mindset and the confidence to work independently or as part of a collaborative team
