We are seeking a talented and proactive Master Production Scheduler. This pivotal role to forecast activities associated with customer and product supply.

We are recruiting on behalf of a Global leader in the design, development, and manufacture of high-speed metal forming and finishing machinery, with an $8.5 bn turnover, a reputation for excellence and operations in 41 countries. They have proudly achieved The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise for their international trade, innovation and sustainable development.

Salary, hours and benefits:

  • Up to £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.

  • Non-contractual company bonus

  • 33 days holiday (inclusive of stats)

  • Westfield Health & Bupa

  • Up to 9% employer pension contributions, 6% employee contributions

  • Flexible start and finish times, 37.5 hours per week – core hours Monday to Thursday 9:30 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 16:30 & Friday 9:30 to 13:00.

    About the Role:

    The Master Production Scheduler is responsible for all forecasting activities for customers and products. You will create and maintain forecast models for customers, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales, marketing, finance, replenishment analysts, forecast against internal and external capacities.

    Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop effective forecast models and drive forecast accuracy and improvements.

  • Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities.

  • Successfully communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management.

  • Maps demands Vs operator, machine/tool, space, and supplier capacity and initiates corrective action as necessary

  • Supports the financial forecasting process.

  • Report Plan Adherence, Inventory Metrics, Purchasing Metrics and Customer Delivery Performance.

  • Regularly reviews and maintains planning parameters.

  • Duties around SAP Implementation within Supply chain

  • Ability to engage internal and external stakeholders.

  • Methodical and organised.

  • Resilient communicator with persuasive and negotiating skills.

  • Problem solving ability, strategic thinking and planning.

  • You should have experience of demand planning within Manufacturing and Production.

  • Be proficient in statistics, forecasting and operations impacts

  • Knowledge of business and management principles involve in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques.

  • Able to work in a team environment and to lead a team.

  • Strong analytical, organisation, decision making and presenting skills

  • BA/BSc college degree or its equivalent

  • Experienced with MS Office applications
