Salary:- £27,000 depending on experience

Glendale Countryside's dedicated arboriculture teams carry out a wide range of tree-related works for domestic, commercial & public sector clients, throughout London and the South East. We are looking for staff to join our award-winning arboriculture teams based in Surrey.
As well as core technical arboricultural tasks, services offered in this region include woodland and estates management, vegetation management, fencing, tree surgery, forestry and environmental engineering projects so there is a wide variety of experiences and skills to be gained.
Our South Shields depot is one of our flagship arboricultural bases, employing qualified and experienced full-time arborists. Working from 7 am - 3.30 pm 5 days per week. Regular paid overtime is also available outside of these hours.
Our arborists benefit from a vast array of tools and equipment, from high-end timberwolf chippers, Husqvarna and Stihl handheld equipment including battery equivalent tools, Mobile Elevated Platforms, 26ton Hi-Ab timber lorries, remote-controlled stump grinders, telehandlers and 3.5t - 7.5t arb spec vehicles.

The Qualified Person

  • Proactive member of staff with a passion for arboriculture
  • Strong team working ethic essential
  • The candidate will need to be flexible and reliable with a thorough, proven knowledge of all aspects of tree work: ground and aerial
  • Comfortable undertaking arboricultural duties including tree pruning, dismantling & felling
  • Nature of work requires the qualified candidates to hold the relevant industry qualifications such as NPTC certificates: 201(CS30), 202(CS31), 206/306(CS38) 308(CS39),. Possession of a valid CSCS card would be an advantage. A full, UK driving licence is desired, preferably with trailer towing up to 3,500kg.
  • Must have a positive attitude towards Health & Safety regulations
