Sales Manager
UK Nationwide
Base Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum (DOE)
Commission: Uncapped on new business revenue generated
Working Hours: Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:00 with travel for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
Hybrid: None field days are based in the office in the East Midlands

    The Role:
    The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth within the UK, building client relationships, and to meet and exceed sales targets. This individual will need to have a deep understanding of scaffolding systems, as well as a proven track record in sales within a manufacturing or construction-related industry.
    Although this position is for a Sales Manager, there are no direct reportees. However, for the right candidate, excellent career progression opportunities will be available, including the potential to manage a small team in the near future.
    Key Responsibilities:
    Sales Strategy and Target Achievement:
    Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase revenue within the scaffolding sector.
    Identify new market opportunities within SME’s and build a sales pipeline to expand the customer base.
    Establish and review weekly targets, collaborating with the Operations Director to achieve or surpass these goals
    Customer Relationship Management:
    Establish and maintain strong relationships with new clients
    Negotiate contracts and agreementsHandle customer enquiries and requests in a professional and timely manner.
    Market Analysis and Reporting:
    Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and threats.
    Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and analyses for senior management.
    Provide recommendations for product enhancements based on market feedback.
    Use of CRM system to track prospect customers
    Requirements:
    A minimum of 10 years' sales experience within the UK scaffolding industry, with a solid understanding of regional markets
    A proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
    Strong background in B2B sales, including account management and client retention
    In-depth knowledge of scaffolding systems, products, and market trends
    Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
    Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans
    Experience working to and exceeding KPIs and performance targets
    Effective leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams to success
    Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently
    Excellent problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approach
    Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
    Strong organisational and time management capabilities
    Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics CRM (desirable)
    Full UK driving licence, clean and valid
