This role presents an excellent opportunity to enhance your existing technical sales career or develop new skills and experiences. As a skilled salesperson or engineer with customer-facing experience, you have a passion for guiding projects from initial enquiry to final purchase.

You are likely to have experience in roles such as: Application Engineer, Sales Technician, Sales Engineer, Sales Executive, Product Engineer, Product Manager, Support Engineer, or existing experience with automotive test & measurement equipment: Data Acquisition, sensors and systems.

Covering the UK, your responsibilities will include generating leads, handling incoming enquiries, and focusing on finding new customers and business opportunities. Growing the business in this sector will be your primary goal, managing the sales process from the initial inquiry or lead to demonstrating equipment and closing the sale.

Additionally, after-sales support is a key aspect of this role. You will be the primary contact for customers requiring further assistance, leveraging the support provided by our suppliers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee the entire sales process, including lead generation, qualification, evaluation, account management, and fostering strong customer relationships.

  • Record leads, opportunities, and orders in our CRM system.

  • Proactively and independently work to achieve and surpass sales targets.

  • Provide after-sales support, addressing customer queries and resolving any issues.

  • Contribute to the development of sales and marketing strategies for new markets and industries.

  • Attend occasional UK exhibitions and travel to suppliers for training and meetings.

  • Work office hours, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

    KEY SKILLS:

  • Technical Sales Experience: Proven experience in technical sales or a strong technical background with a desire to transition into a customer-facing technical sales role.

  • Customer Support: Previous experience in providing customer support.

  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, essential for effectively pitching products and building customer trust.

  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business principles to support overall business goals.

  • IT Proficiency: Competent in IT, with experience in CRM systems or similar tools being highly desirable.

  • Motivated and Sales-Driven: Self-motivated with a strong drive for achieving sales targets.

  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a small team while dealing with large corporations.

  • Desirables: Understand DAQ: how to log analogue, digital and CAN signals. Experience with Ethernet, CAN communications and data analysis
