The Sales Manager role comes with a salary of up to £70,000.

Responsibilities and duties

Reporting to the Managing Director you will:

Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue goals and expand our market presence.
Work closely with engineering and project teams to ensure proposals align with technical and industry standards.
Cultivate strong relationships with clients, delivering exceptional service and support.
Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and innovations in solar technology.
Prepare comprehensive technical proposals and cost estimates tailored to client needs.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote services and network with potential clients.
Lead the tender process, coordinating with internal teams to prepare and submit accurate and competitive bids.
Negotiate contracts with clients and supply chain partners, focusing on sales terms, pricing, delivery timelines, and risk management.Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in sales, with a proven track record in Solar services sales.
Extensive experience in utility-scale solar energy sales.
Strong ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into compelling proposals.Personal skills
