Warehouse Operative - Bedford Due to recent expansion, Excel Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Warehouse Operative to join our client - a leading fulfilment and distribution centre based in Bedford. This role offers an excellent opportunity to secure long-term, permanent employment following a successful probationary period. Hours of Work: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday Responsibilities of a Warehouse Operative Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently Maintain stock control and promptly report any inventory discrepancies Safely handle goods in accordance with company manual handling procedures Scan and record products to ensure all inventory data is accurate Load and unload delivery vehicles while ensuring all goods are handled safely Complete all assigned tasks to meet customer service and quality standards Adhere to all health & safety procedures to maintain a safe warehouse environment Requirements Minimum 6 months' experience in a similar warehouse or logistics role Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment Willingness and availability to work rotating shifts as required Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks A Forklift licence is desirable but not essential Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a team-focused approach Commitment to customer satisfaction and high-quality work Benefits £12.21 - £15.26 per hour, with enhanced pay for unsocial hours Full training provided and ongoing development opportunities Supportive, safety-driven workplace culture Genuine long-term and permanent prospects Be part of a growing and dynamic team within a successful business Rates for Under 21 Age 18-20: £10.00 per hour Age 16-17: £7.55 per hour If you're a motivated and reliable warehouse professional who takes pride in delivering excellent service, we'd love to hear from you.
