About the Role:
As Business Development Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of driving the agency’s growth. This is not just a sales role — it’s a chance to shape the future of the business by identifying new opportunities, cultivating lasting client relationships, and helping brands realise their digital potential.
You’ll work closely with the leadership and marketing teams, blending commercial acumen with creativity to open doors and win business across a range of sectors. Your input will directly influence agency strategy and success.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through email outreach, cold and warm calling, social media, events, and networking.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Qualify inbound and outbound leads, nurture prospects through the sales funnel, and close high-value deals.
  • Pitching & Proposals: Create compelling proposals, deliver persuasive pitches, and negotiate terms to win client trust and business.
  • Client Onboarding: Partner with internal delivery teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and successful campaign launches.
  • Account Growth: Spot opportunities to upsell services and increase client value through strategic guidance and consultative selling.
  • Referrals & Partnerships: Build long-term relationships that generate referrals and unlock new partnership channels.
  • CRM Excellence: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, opportunities, and activities in the CRM system.
  • Client Billing & Retention: Oversee billing accuracy, contribute to client satisfaction, and play a key role in client retention strategies.
    Skills & Experience:
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrable success in B2B sales, business development, or client acquisition—ideally within a digital agency or marketing consultancy.
  • Digital Marketing Know-How: Familiarity with SEO, PPC, Paid Social, Content, Web Design, and Creative Services will set you apart.
  • Strategic Thinking: Able to identify customer pain points and align services to meet their goals with a tailored approach.
  • Self-Starter: Highly driven, results-oriented, and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent Communicator: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Organised & Methodical: Strong time management and prioritisation skills, with experience in using CRM tools to manage a sales pipeline.
  • Relationship Builder: Confident and personable, with a consultative sales approach and genuine passion for helping clients succeed.
