Systems V&V Engineer

Are you a hands-on engineer with a passion for UAVs? We're seeking a Test & Integration Engineer to help us build and certify next-generation unmanned aerial systems.

Role: Test and Integration Systems Engineer

Location: Chilmark, Wiltshire (Hybrid - 2 or 3 days onsite)

Contract: 6 months + extension

Start Date: ASAP

SC Cleared: Active or should be eligible for SC clearance

In this role, you'll be responsible for the full V&V lifecycle, from planning and executing formal system-level tests to troubleshooting integration issues. You'll work across various subsystems including avionics, propulsion, and communication ensuring they integrate seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and execute formal V&V tests on UAV systems.
Integrate and test subsystems, including avionics and sensors.
Analyze test data and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
Produce formal test reports for certification and regulatory compliance.

What We're Looking For:

Degree in Aerospace, Systems, or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
Proven experience in system integration or test engineering within the aerospace/UAV sector.
Familiarity with aerospace standards (e.g., DO-178C, DO-254).
Hands-on experience with test tools like LabVIEW or MATLAB/Simulink.
