As an Assistant Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that our stores deliver the best shopping experience to our customers and help them discover the true benefits of a Tempur mattress.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership Support: Assist the Store Manager in running the day-to-day operations of the store, including team management, stock control, and merchandising.
Customer Experience: Provide exceptional customer service, guiding shoppers through product selection, offering expert advice, and conducting product demonstrations to highlight the benefits of Tempur mattresses.
Sales & Performance: Help drive sales by ensuring that the team consistently meets and exceeds performance targets. You’ll also play a key role in implementing promotional activities and campaigns.
Team Development: Support the training and development of your team, ensuring that they are knowledgeable, motivated, and confident in delivering outstanding customer service.
Store Presentation: Ensure the store is clean, organised, and visually appealing, maintaining Tempur’s high standards in product displays and customer-facing areas.
Operational Support: Assist with administrative tasks such as stock management, reporting, and budgeting to ensure smooth store operations.Ideal Candidate:
Retail Management Experience: Previous experience in a retail management or supervisory role is essential, ideally within a similar high-end or customer-focused environment.
Passionate About Sleep and Wellness: A genuine interest in sleep products and how they impact overall well-being.
Leadership Skills: Strong ability to lead by example, motivate a team, and foster a positive and productive store environment.
Sales-Driven: Proven track record in achieving and surpassing sales targets, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
Organised and Detail-Oriented: Capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently, with excellent time management and problem-solving abilities.
