On behalf of Deloitte, AMS are looking for a Consultant User Researcher/Service Designer for an initial 9-week contract on a high-profile public sector healthcare project. The role will involve Ireland-wide travel with all expenses covered.

Purpose of the Role:

Join one of the world's leading consulting firms, Deloitte, on a high-impact engagement focused on improving service experiences through design-led thinking. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Consultant-level User Researcher or Service Designer to join a fast-paced, strategic project aimed at uncovering real user needs and shaping better systems.

You'll be working closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, facilitating workshops and translating insight into meaningful service improvements. The role offers a rare chance to collaborate across multiple regions in Ireland - with all travel expenses fully covered - and contribute to a visible, purpose-driven piece of work.

As a User Researcher/Service Designer you will be responsible for:

Lead and facilitate collaborative workshops and co-design sessions with stakeholders and users.
Conduct user research to surface insights and map current experiences and pain points.
Translate research findings into actionable recommendations and service design artefacts.
Review and analyse existing systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver strategic, user-centred solutions.
Present findings and design concepts to internal and client stakeholders clearly and persuasively.Travel to client sites across Ireland as part of a hands-on, field-driven design approach.

What we require from the candidate:

Strong facilitation and workshop leadership capabilities.
Solid understanding of design thinking and service design methodologies.
Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
A strategic mindset with the ability to connect user needs with organisational objectives.
Strong analytical ability to assess systems, journeys, and data.
Prior healthcare industry experience is a plus, but not a requirement.
Comfortable with travel across Ireland; expenses fully reimbursed.This is a great fit for someone looking to do meaningful, visible work within a well-supported and prestigious consulting environment, while also building connections across multiple regions and domains.
