Location: Stockport, UK Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum, plus benefits
Are you an experienced and ambitious sales professional with a passion for commercial insurance? Do you have a proven track record of leading a team to exceed targets? We are a dynamic and growing SME commercial insurance firm based in Stockport, and we are looking for a highly motivated Internal Sales Manager to join our team.
The Role
As our Internal Sales Manager, you will be a key driver of our company's growth. You will be responsible for leading, coaching, and motivating our internal sales team to achieve and surpass sales goals. You will manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and client acquisition to renewal and retention, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of internal sales advisors, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive new business and client retention.
• Monitor team performance against KPIs and sales targets, providing regular feedback and training.
• Manage a portfolio of SME commercial insurance accounts, ensuring exceptional client service.
• Handle complex client queries and provide expert advice on a range of commercial insurance products.
• Collaborate with the senior management team to identify new market opportunities and contribute to business strategy.
• Ensure all sales activities are compliant with FCA regulations and internal procedures.
• Prepare and present sales reports and performance insights to senior management.
What We’re Looking For:
• Proven experience in a sales management or team leader role within the commercial insurance sector, specifically with SME clients.
• A strong understanding of a wide range of commercial insurance products.
• Exceptional leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to inspire a team to achieve its best.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• A results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
• CII qualifications are highly desirable.
