Media Sales Executive – Print Advertising
📍 Remote (with occasional travel for trial days – client based in Wiltshire)
💼 Permanent | Full-Time | Flexible Hours
💰 Up to £32,000 basic + uncapped commission
🕘 Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm

Our client, a well-established and respected local publishing company with over 58 years in the industry, is expanding their team and seeking an experienced Media sales Executive to join them in a remote new business sales role.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and self-motivated individual with a proven background in selling print advertising. The role offers flexibility, remote working, and excellent earning potential through uncapped commission.

Key Responsibilities:



Selling print advertising space to small and medium-sized businesses

*

Promoting some online listings and generating warm leads for the digital sales team

*

Managing outbound sales calls, building rapport, and closing deals

*

Understanding client needs and tailoring advertising solutions accordingly

*

Maintaining accurate client records and following up on interest

*

Working to achievable sales targets in a fast-paced, supportive environment

Candidate Requirements (Must-Have):

*

Recent or current experience selling print advertising (classified or display)

*

Background in publications, newspapers, magazines, or similar media

*

Confident, friendly, and persuasive phone manner

*

Resilient, adaptable, and goal-oriented

*

Excellent listening and questioning skills

*

Self-starter who can work independently, especially when remote

Please note – two non-negotiable requirements:

1.

Candidates must have sold print advertising recently. Applications without this experience will not be considered.

2.

Candidates must be willing to attend 1 or 2 paid trial days at the client’s premises after interview stage and prior to offer. This is essential to ensure the role is a strong mutual fit.
