TEKEVER Defence is responsible for the development and delivery of TEKEVER’s offering to the defence market, with a core focus to deliver innovative, battle winning capabilities to NATO defence partners.

Job Overview:

As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will play a critical role in identifying and executing market entry strategies to support TEKEVER’s continued global growth. You will be an experienced business development professional with extensive experience operating within the defence market. You will have a passion for problem-solving and driving business solutions that meet the evolving needs of defence customers.

You will be a team player with excellent communication skills and capable of working as part of cross-functional teams to deliver within challenging timeframes.

What will be your responsibilities:

  • Market Strategy Leadership: Define and execute the market entry strategy for TEKEVER platforms in designated regions, focusing on market analysis, customer engagement, and sales strategy.
  • Customer Relationship Development: Build strong, trusted relationships with key defence stakeholders to identify and develop opportunities.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Oversee and manage the sales pipeline to convert market insights into actionable business opportunities.
  • Business Solution Development: Collaborate with the wider team to develop business solutions that meet the evolving requirements of defence customers 
  • Collaborative Approach: Work closely with the engineering, operations, and wider TEKEVER teams to ensure alignment in delivering market strategies and capabilities.
  • Tender Management: Lead the development and submission of tender responses in the region, ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Industry Engagement: Attend relevant conferences, exhibitions, and events to support business development and identify new opportunities for collaboration.

Profile and requirements:

  • An undergraduate degree in a STEM subject
  • Proven experience in business development within the defence sector
  • Strong understanding of the defence market, particularly in relation to unmanned air systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Military & ISR Experience: Exposure to operational-level ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) is beneficial
  • Language Requirements: Advanced proficiency in  English, with proven fluency at the C2 level .
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of export rules, regulations, and compliance
  • Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of NATO and Western ally strategic UAS concepts and industrial capabilities
  • Availability to Office working for a minimum of 3 days a week at our TEKEVER Defence sites in Bath and the South West is essential.
