The role is peak client service, without the pressure of sales targets - instead focussing on providing the right solutions for your clients over multi-year agreements.


The role can be based at any of the firms corporate offices - Birmingham, Manchester, London, or Leeds. Remote applicants commutable to Bristol or Leicester will also be considered.

Role Insights:

  • Account Handling a diverse portfolio of specialist and corporate clients, managing complex insurance programmes with £1bn+ sums insured
  • Working on a variety of insurance lines, from property, liabilities, vehicles and PI through to marine, aviation, technology, drones and a host of other niches
  • You’ll focus on client servicing and support, ensuring the highest standards without the pressure of sales targets
  • Provide advisory-led insurance broking within a stable client environment, with many on 3-5 year agreements
  • Collaborate with a seasoned team dedicated to supporting your transition into this advanced role


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of specialist clients
  • Analyse and interpret complex insurance requirements to provide tailored solutions
  • Ensure the highest level of client service, responding promptly to queries and concerns
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain and enhance service delivery standards
  • Keep abreast of market trends and regulatory changes to provide informed advice


Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in insurance account handling, preferably within a brokerage environment
  • Strong understanding of various insurance products and markets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyse complex data and present information clearly
  • Adept at building and maintaining professional client relationships
  • ACII qualification or work towards is desirable, but far from essential
