The Drone Operations Manager Role

You'll be responsible for managing and delivering drone operations across a range of commercial projects, primarily focused on glazing and façade cleaning operations.

The role will involve mission planning, flight operations, safety compliance, equipment maintenance, and data collection, ensuring all operations are completed safely and efficiently in line with Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regulations.

You'll also work closely with project teams and clients, providing technical expertise and ensuring operational excellence across all UAV activities.

Drone Operations Manager Essential Skills
  • Valid CAA Operational Authorisation (GVC or A2)
  • Proven commercial drone piloting experience
  • Strong understanding of UAV systems and flight operations
  • Experience working within construction, surveying, facilities, or engineering environments
  • Excellent understanding of safety and compliance procedures
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
