Are you an experienced Production Manager or Production Supervisor looking for a new role within Lincolnshire? This company are a small manufacturing business with approximately 65 staff in total looking for someone to join the business who can support the current team getting their hands dirty as well as supporting the Engineering team with the implementation of a new product into manufacture. You will have experience of working within the 'high care' food industry. You will be managing x3 Supervisors on an afternoon shift, Monday to Friday 1.30pm - 5.30pm. Offering a salary of £40K + 33 days holiday + many more excellent benefits. This is ideally a temporary to permanent position, but happy to speak to people who are looking for a purely temporary position and permanent position.

Role Duties:
Managing a team of x3 Supervisors on the afternoon shift
Shift hand-overs
Plan production runs to minimise waste and maximise product life
Liaise with Despatch to ensure the pack product is available on time
Work closely with Engineering, agree and implement improvements to existing processes and production lines to maximise machine productivity and minimise downtime
Order packaging and stock as per business needs and highlight stock level concerns
Follow the companies H&S guidelines
Monitor KPIs identified by the Site Manager and work towards achieving and surpassing the agreed targets
Identify training needs within the department and develop existing members of the team
Undertake internal audits including HSE audits
HR duties within the team - managing holidays, disciplinary etc

Suitable Production Manager

Experience of managing supervisors / team leaders within a high care food manufacturing environment
Strong communicator who can gain honest relationships with peers and other departments within the business
Keen eye for detail with a 'right first time' attitude
Must be able to drive product quality, integrity and trace ability
Strong people manager
Mentor capabilities
