This role will be ideal for someone looking to develop their skill set within Account Management. An ideal candidate would have the following experience but given this is a development role some gaps are expected.

  • Experience in logistics & supply chain operations

  • Direct first-hand experience of dealing with clients

  • Working in an environment where performance targets must be met

  • Experience of responding to problems, determining causes, developing improvement

  • Commercial and operational background would be of advantage

  • Experience of developing relationships with clients

  • Customer focused with determination to deliver positive outcomes for the client

  • Empathetic and persuasive person

  • Pragmatic and quick to respond to challenges

  • Enthusiastic to create change

  • Goal driven and focused

  • Analytical and numerate with an ability to analyse data and problem solve

  • Ability to think commercially

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ideally the candidate would be educated or able to perform to degree level
