Salary range £28,500 - £40,000 OTE
This is an outstanding career opportunity with a market leader providing arboricultural services to private and public sector businesses.
We can guarantee our staff have work every day through varying channels with LB Croydon, LB Wandsworth, LB Southwark and LB Bromley as well as a large proportion of other clients.
Glendale arboriculture carries out a wide range of tree-related works for housing association, commercial & public sector clients, throughout London and the South East. We are looking for staff to join our arboriculture teams based in Croydon.
Services offered in this region include woodland and estates management, vegetation management, fencing, tree surgery, forestry and environmental engineering projects.
Our depot based in Croydon currently employs over 25 qualified and experienced full-time arborists. Working from 7 am - 4.30 pm 5 days per week. Regular paid overtime is also available outside of these hours as well as operational bonus.
Our arborists benefit from a vast array of tools and equipment, from high-end chippers, Husqvarna and Stihl handheld equipment including battery equivalent tools, Mobile Elevated Platforms, remote-controlled stump grinders and 3.5t - 7.5t arb spec vehicles.

Strong team working ethic essential

The candidate will need to be flexible and reliable with a thorough, proven knowledge of all aspects of tree work: ground and aerial

Comfortable undertaking arboricultural duties including tree pruning, dismantling & felling

Nature of work requires the qualified candidates to hold the relevant industry qualifications such as NPTC certificates: 201(CS30), 202(CS31), 206/306(CS38) 308(CS39),. Possession of a valid CSCS card would be an advantage. A full, UK driving licence is desired, preferably with a trailer towing up to 3,500kg.

Must have a positive attitude towards Health & Safety regulations
