£30k plus bonus

We are currently looking to recruit a Sales representative looking to develop sales and retention within an established local company. We are ideally looking for someone with a proven track record within Phone sales or a good working history within retail sales. You must be outgoing, customer orientated and have the desire to succeed and develop within the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Making outbound calls: Be expected to make a certain number of calls daily, often following up on leads generated from marketing efforts or cold calling.
Pitching and selling products: Effectively communicate the benefits of the company's products or services and persuade customers to make a purchase.

Handling customer inquiries: Answer customer questions, address concerns, and provide additional information as needed.

Taking orders: Responsible for taking orders from existing customers or securing orders from newly acquired customers.

Providing after-sales service: Be involved in addressing customer complaints or resolving issues related to their purchases.

Maintaining records: Keep accurate records of customer interactions and sales data in a CRM system is crucial.

Meeting sales targets: Achieve sales quotas and expect to meet or exceed them.

Generating leads: Actively seek out and engage with potential customers.

Skills and Qualities:

Excellent communication skills: The ability to communicate clearly, persuasively, and effectively over the phone is essential.
Strong interpersonal skills: Build rapport with customers and understanding their needs is crucial for success.

Persuasion and negotiation skills: The ability to convince customers to make a purchase and negotiate pricing or terms may be necessary.

Sales aptitude: An understanding of sales techniques and a passion for selling are important.

Adaptability and resilience: Deal with rejections and adapting to different customer personalities is necessary.

Computer proficiency: Working with CRM systems and other software is a common requirement.

Knowledge of products and services: A strong understanding of the company's offerings is essential for making effective sales pitches.
